Weekend doodles

I started today off with the intention to animate a reindeer (getting in the festive mood) Then ending up with this guy charging at the screen :P

 And I animated this lil' guy below, after watching a documentary called "Wild and Wolly" definitely worth a watch :)

Next animation

My friend suggested that we do an A-Z fan-art drawing challenge, to which I gave up half way through A... So I'm doing a short animation for it instead (same thing, same thing....)

I (should be) working on my student film concept at the moment too. Which gets priority... kinda :P

 

Finishing in Boulder :(

I’ve just finished up working in Boulder Media for the summer, and to say that I enjoyed it is an understatement. I can’t think of any better way to have spent my summer. 

I’m thrilled to have had the chance to work with the incredibly talented people there - I’ve been thinking about how to write this for the entire day, and I can’t put into words how fantastic these guys are. 

Even though I was only there for three months, they’re among my closest friends and I’d jump at a chance to work with them again. There’s no wonder why they’ve picked up so many awards and nominations for what they do, I’m sure there’ll be many more down the road for the insanely hard-working staff!

So to the team leads, animators, background artists, compers and production, you are the loveliest people to work with, a huge inspiration and have boundless passion and talent for your work. The future for Boulder is a bright one at the hands of such brilliant people. Thank you so much for having me around for the summer! For the people who have left and for those staying, I wish you all the best!

Hopefully our paths will cross again some day :)
